China Nigeria bilateral trade full chain model to promote China Africa Trade

The meeting focused on building the whole chain model of China Nigeria bilateral trade, based on the advantages of inland ports of Hunan and Nigeria, and cooperating to build a closed-loop one-stop business circulation system.
At the meeting, Xu Xiangping, director of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce and President of China Africa economic and Trade Cooperation Research Association, introduced the new platform, new mechanism and new measures of Hunan's cooperation with Africa. He said that since the successful holding of the first China Africa economic and Trade Expo, domestic and foreign resources for cooperation with Africa have accelerated to gather in Hunan, and the bright spots of Hunan's cooperation with Africa are frequent and promising. 2021 is the "big year" of China Africa cooperation. It is about to usher in the new China Africa Cooperation Forum and China Africa economic and Trade Expo. In the post epidemic period, China Africa cooperation will develop towards higher quality and benefit people's livelihood. At present, based on the two national platforms of China Africa economic and Trade Expo and the pilot area of China Africa economic and trade in-depth cooperation, Hunan is striving to build a long-term mechanism for cooperation with Africa and promote the in-depth integration with African countries in the market system and industrial chain under the guidance of the "three high and four new" strategy.
One belt, one road to China's Nigeria bilateral trade, is to create five innovations: quality inspection, transportation, customs clearance and quality control. The first is to explore the third party cooperation in response to the national "one belt and one way" initiative. Second, introduce the world's top 500 enterprises to realize the centralized completion of commodity inspection by one company in China and Africa, greatly reducing the time and cost of customs clearance and logistics; Third, the "point-to-point" cooperation between inland ports of China and African countries has been realized to effectively reduce logistics costs; Fourth, the cooperation between central enterprises and local enterprises has been realized; Fifth, promote the export of products from the province to Africa and the import of African products, and further expand the scale of China Africa trade.
At the meeting, the Management Committee of Yueyang Chenglingji comprehensive free trade zone, British DIDS company, Bureau Veritas international inspection group, COSCO Shipping International Freight Co., Ltd., China Africa economic and Trade Cooperation Research Association and Hunan Gaoqiao market Co., Ltd. jointly signed the joint construction agreement on the whole chain model of China Nigeria bilateral import and export trade. Xu Kejun, deputy director of the Management Committee of Yueyang Chenglingji comprehensive free trade zone, said that Yueyang Chenglingji port and Nigeria have common platform resource advantages. They are both inland ports. Through the "point-to-point" cooperation of inland ports, they connect the water transport channels between China and Africa, provide support for China Africa economic and trade cooperation and facilitate China's commodity export and Africa's commodity import.
